Court Rooms

Impact has been selected by the Crown Prosecution Service as the sole supplier for the rental of audio visual and videoconferencing products in courts in England and Wales and is also a framework supplier for scanning and electronic evidence preparation.

In Court Audio Visual Systems

Impact's works closely with the Court Service, Police Service and the CPS to provide both the technology and technical expertise to effectively display digital evidence as part of a trial. We provide all aspects of audio visual evidence presentation which includes computers and servers, large screen LCD and plasma displays, voice distortion equipment, video/audio playback equipment (including DVC Pro, DVD, VHS, time lapse and multiplexers), infra-red headsets. The technology and service Impact provides has been proven to aid a successful verdict and in many instances reduce the length of the trial. All of the equipment is installed by our trained technicians who also support the installation for the duration of the trial.

Remote giving of evidence by video link

Videoconferencing technology now enables a person who has an interest in court proceedings to be involved in a hearing from a remote location anywhere on the globe. Given the increasing movement of people this has allowed witnesses, expert witnesses and others unable to travel to court to participate remotely.

Impact can arrange the equipment for court as well as finding the nearest venue for the remote person to travel to (we also often locate equipment into a house if that person cannot be moved to the court). The technology also allows any evidence shown in court to also be viewed remotely. For every call Impact arrange pre court test calls and manage the live link via their Sunbury videoconferencing bridge.

Impact supports you all the way

Impact have been providing video display equipment and support services for use in Courtrooms for over fifteen years and have a wealth of knowledge and experience that can be used to ensure that the video evidence is displayed in the most effective method which has been proven on a number of occasions to aid a successful verdict and reduce the length of the trial.

Experienced Home Office security cleared technicians complete the installation and demonstrate how to use the equipment prior to the case starting or if preferred on the morning of the trial. We also offer operator services should the requirement arise.

We understand the importance of timing and the urgency if things go wrong we also have a helpdesk to provide technical support and advice and if required a technician can be despatched to the court.
