Audio Visual Remote Monitoring

Our Remote Monitoring service enables observation and management of your audio-visual (AV) and videoconferencing (VC) systems from a central location.

By continuous monitoring of your AV and VC environment we can measure usage and capacity, and see when faults occur with the equipment. We are also able to anticipate when potential faults may occur and rectify them BEFORE they impact your service.

Our team of qualified technicians, and our investment in the latest technology, allow us to manage AV and VC systems at scale and therefore benefit from the economies and efficiencies that this brings.

Our AV Network Operating Centre

IMPACT has a state of the art technical facility based in its AV NOC (Network Operations Centre), utilising specially designed software and hardware, to monitor the components of your AV and VC systems.

This technology continually tracks the behaviour, usage and activity of the systems and alerts us to any events that are unusual.

The technology is configured, according to your requirements, to activate specific procedures depending on the nature of those alerts.

  • For example, if the monitoring system notices that a device is no longer responding as expected, remedial action will automatically be attempted. This process will continue to attempt a variety of solutions until the issue is resolved.
  • The priority of this activity can also be configured depending on the importance of the device affected and/or the priority criteria defined by you.
  • We can ensure that certain events are escalated and communicated to you as required.
  • By working closely with your technical teams we can ensure that the communication between the devices, and our own monitoring systems, is effective and stable.
  • We do this by engaging with your specialists at an early stage in the implementation programme.
  • This is a relationship we seek to develop during the life cycle of the service. Collaboration is crucial for the success of this type of service.
  • Our AV NOC is manned by a team of qualified technicians who are able to manage the services of a wide range of clients simultaneously.
  • Our robust security procedures (ISO 27001) ensure that all information exchanged between clients and IMPACT is subject to strict control.
  • We are able to collect a large and varied amount of statistical information for you, about usage, capacity, incidents and availability that will help you to manage the service effectively and efficiently.
  • Our Account Managers ensure the service is continually reviewed and improved.
