The method of displaying video evidence in a courtroom is becoming increasingly important as in many instances video or computer evidence is central to the prosecution case.
Impact's Audio Visual Evidence Services (AVES) division works closely with the court service, the police service and the Crown Prosecution Service in the UK to provide both the technology and technical expertise to effectively display video evidence as part of a trial. The service covers two interrelated areas, the collection, monitoring and storage of the evidence using digital video technology and the presentation of evidence as part of a trial.
Impact provides all aspects of audiovisual evidence presentation which includes video conferencing links, displays, voice distortion equipment and video/audio playback equipment. The technology and service Impact provides has been proven to aid a successful verdict and in many instances reduce the length of the trial.
InQuestor, a technology developed by Impact for a large and complex cases, is currently being used in major police investigations.
