After an extensive business process improvement programme and quality audit in partnership with consultancy firm Teamwork, Impact has re-certified its existing ISO 9001:2008 quality management system from NQA to BSi. This programme has focused on customer service, staff motivation and continuous improvement processes.
Whilst undergoing this programme, Impact has also achieved BS OHSAS 18001 which promotes a safe and healthy working environment, thereby reducing the risk of accidents and ensuring regulatory compliance for the company, employees and customers.
Impact has also been certified for its Environmental Management System (EMS) and been awarded the internationally accepted ISO 14001 standard. By understanding the company’s own impact on the environment as well as promoting “green” technologies such as videoconferencing and telepresence, Impact is wholly committed to sustainability both locally and globally.
In addition, to ensure that the company meets the stringent requirements of its customers for the provision of hosted solutions and remote managed services, Impact has secured ISO 27001 providing it with an internationally recognised and auditable Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Commenting on these prestigious awards, Impact’s Managing Director Julian Phillips stated “the audiovisual industry has not always been associated with professionalism and quality. This validation by the World’s premiere standards body is proof of the investments made by Impact to scale its business to meet the needs of global organisations and to look after its employees and the environment too."
Julian Phillips also assessed the importance of quality standards for customers, “As audiovisual and videoconferencing technologies become business critical tools, customers want partners who can deliver the highest possible standards and services internationally, these awards help position Impact as a partner they can work with and trust.”
